Why We’re Doing It

The Duchess Club of Ocean Springs is a volunteer organization that has been quietly supporting children and families in the community for 78 years. Net proceeds from the Roundup go directly back into the community, supporting programs such as:

  • Scholarships for high school seniors with financial need ($10,000 awarded last year)
  • Sponsoring children for summer enrichment programs and camps (24 children supported last summer)
  • Stocking school pantries
  • Christmas Doll & Toy Campaign
  • Supporting families in need

Last year, the Duchess Club sponsored 24 elementary school children to attend local summer camps—and this year, with proceeds from Dolly’s Rhinestone Roundup, we’re excited to help even more kids experience summer camp, choosing programs that match their interests like sailing, athletics, art, and more. The Duchess Club of Ocean Springs is a volunteer organization that has been quietly supporting children and families in the community for 77 years.
